STUDIO PROFILE

Exit Design is a six year old Branding & Communication Design firm based in Bangalore. We specialize in the area of corporate branding and website development, though you'll find a wide cross-section of other collateral in our portfolio.

We believe in 'listening' to our clients and interpreting their design language using our design and communication skills.

WHY THE NAME

The honest truth?

In our search for a name for the studio, Arnab (the co-founder) and I were looking through a dictionary and thesaurus for any word that communicated the 'essence' of what we wanted to do. It came down to two words, one of which sounded a bit vulgar, and the other was 'Exit'. And that's how the studio was born!

What is the 'essence' we wanted to communicate?

Our inspiration was, and has always been, Richard Branson - the Virgin brand.
Virgin Rail, Virgin Music, Virgin Atlantic - it's such a cool brand! And the moment we fixed on 'Exit' - almost immediately it was all about 'Exit Design', 'Exit T-shirts', 'Exit Holidays' - 'Exit Lollipops' even! - the 'Exit Experience'. Suddenly the possibilities were endless...and still are.

What is the 'Exit Experience'?

It's fun! It's quirky. It's intelligent. At the same time - it's focussed. It's driven. It's ambitious. It's professional. It is grounded.
Too often, in a quest for growth and in being ambitious, we do too many things too soon. And in doing so, we start skimming over the basics.
At Exit Design, the emphasis is on doing the simple things right. Communicate Openly. Meet the Deadlines. Focus on Quality. Keep the Client Happy. :) In doing these simple things right - the rest will fall in place.

APPROACH

We’re increasingly becoming
‘process junkies’.

‘Growth’ per se is in itself a ‘process’. The mapping of it is a ‘process’. ‘Process’ is essentially required to streamline – not confine.

Process is required for transparency. Accountability. Assured delivery. Minimum stress & heartache. We know and understand the value of each of these individually as well as their power - collectively.

Having maintained the quality of work – ‘process’ is helping us ‘grow’ the quality of work. ‘Process’ helps us provide a better delivery of service.

We as a team, understand the value of ‘process’ – which is why, when our designers look to break that ‘process’ at times – we’re only too happy.
And so are our clients.
